Writing good headlines is an art form and a challenge. Creativity and word economy take effort and skill(re-writing and re-writing until it is just right). Headings make or break a piece – it will either be ignored or read. There were some headlines in this year’s line-up that just popped. Because it is such an exceptional and rare skill, we must celebrate those who took the time to honour their readers by creating beautiful lines with so much flair.
